Cooke County, Texas Property Tax is too High to Re-Elect Anyone! Everyone that works for Cooke County says 3.6 percent property tax is not all that high. I would not even re-elect any school janitors in Cooke County, Texas. Many People are paying more for property tax than they did for the house!
