NBC News is Fired for Telling Lies Thursday, 03 April 2008 Brian Williams decided to follow the path of Dan Rather in making up news stories. As of today we will not be watching NBC news any more until Brian Williams is fired! The offending statement was The price of gas is way up. The price of food is way up. The cost of housing is way up. This is the straw that broke the camel's back. I wish I had a nickel for every time the guy said "both parties" almost always incorrectly! If I said both Networks you guys would get pissed and rightfully so. I do understand that you have to hype the news to make it sell. But when you told the lie that crossed the line.
