We need to get rid of property tax all together! I am not sure about the rest of Texas, but in Cooke County they are taxing people at 50 to 100% of the price they paid for the house! And businesses are paying 4% property tax on everything in the office that they already paid sales tax on. There is no way to 'control' their greed!
